SMS PTO Soaring Eagle Bazaar
Join us for a community-wide celebration featuring thrift treasures, student entrepreneurs, baked goods and more—while supporting Sharon Middle School students and staff.
This inaugural event brings together families, local businesses, and the community for a day of shopping, connection, and school spirit. All proceeds benefit SMS PTO programs, enrichment opportunities, and teacher appreciation initiatives.

Clean out your closets. Support SMS students. Make a difference! The SMS PTO is now collecting donations for our September 26 Soaring Eagle Bazaar Fundraiser. Your donated items will help raise funds for Sharon Middle School enrichment programs and the annual 8th Grade Washington, D.C. Trip. We're looking for gently used: 👕 Clothing 👟 Shoes 👜 Accessories 🦅 SMS Spirit Wear 🥾 Outdoor Wear ⚽ Sports Equipment Drop off information: Beginning July 1 11 Livingston Road Please donate only items in good to excellent condition.

Retailers, restaurants, and brands are offering great deals that teachers can enjoy this week (and some are all year-round). All you need is a school ID or through ID.me to verify you are a teacher. Teacher Appreciation Week: May 4–8
Our teachers do so much — let’s show them how much they mean to us! During Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTO is hosting daily events to celebrate them. Families can help by donating, volunteering, or encouraging students to share a message of appreciation. This is how you can participate: Donate to us to fund the week’s events Have your child write a thank you to our amazing teachers Volunteer to help out at one of the activities Donate or bake a food item Donate a raffle prize Send in classroom supplies
Guest Speaker: Dr. Joel Jocelyn
The PTO hosted a special meeting with Dr. Joel Jocelyn, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Jocelyn lead an engaging conversation that focuses on Middle School Curriculum and Instruction. He shared about middle school developmental phases, curriculum, and ways families can partner with the school in supporting student success.
